2020 was a difficult year for everybody but especially for unpaid carers who saw some support services reduced and others withdrawn. They had no alternative but to increase the amount of care they provided. To show our appreciation and celebrate the sterling work undertaken by unpaid carers, we are hosting lunches for them around the Western Isles this month, which is being funded by the Western Isles Integrated Joint Board.
