What do Pointers Do?

  • Support young carers with any issues they may have
  • Give young carers a break from their caring role
  • Enable young carers to take part in fun activities and workshops

When and where do they meet?

The Junior Carers group meet in Pointers Centre monthly on a Saturday 12pm to 4pm
The Senior Carers group meet in Pointers Centre weekly on a Tuesday 3.45pm to 6pm

What happens when they meet?

As part of the group you will be given the opportunity to take part in various fun activities. Meals and snack will be provided and transport costs will be covered. All this is offered FREE of charge!

If respite cover is needed at home to enable you to attend this could be provided through Crossroads.
