Western Isles Community Care Forum have received funding from Shared Care Scotland for the provision of respite breaks for informal carers. The break from the caring role can take many forms eg.

- Night Classes
- Sports Club Membership
- Purchase of a pet
- Pursuit of a hobby
- Pampering
- And much more…
The average value of an award made to successful applicant is £250. Awards will be made in May 2022, August 2022, October 2022 and November 2022
